Protect yourself from fraud
Medicare fraud isn’t victimless – it affects individuals and businesses and, unfortunately, can raise health insurance premiums.
Don’t be a victim of fraud. Discover four effective ways to protect yourself from Medicare fraud:
- Protect your health insurance information: Treat it like your credit card.
- Beware of “free” services in exchange for health insurance information: This could be a scam to get your personal information.
- Check your Explanation of Benefits regularly: Make sure the dates, locations and services billed match what you receive.
- Don’t accept items in the mail that you didn’t order: Refuse delivery and/or return the items to the sender.

Learn about low costs for insulin
To help keep your out-of-pocket costs to a minimum, $35 is the most you’ll have to pay for a one-month supply of insulin that is covered by your plan.
For your Mutual of Omaha Rx (PDP) plan, a one-month supply is 30 days of medication. Copays will be multiplied depending on the day supply dispensed. View the table below to see how the day supply, calculated by your retail pharmacy based on your daily insulin usage, correlates with your copay amount.
